Partenza alle ore 14.00*.
Attraversando il Parco naturale delle Madonie, sosta a Gratteri, a 700 metri sul livello del mare. Per la sua felice posizione, circondata da piccoli monti e colline, è sita come un “nido d’aquila sulla roccia” che domina dall’alto un panorama interminabile, incantevole ed è meta di turisti che ne apprezzano l’aria incontaminata, il verde sconfinato, il silenzio. Proseguimento per il Santuario di Gibilmanna, adagiato su Pizzo Sant’Angelo. Il Santuario, situato a 800 m di altitudine in mezzo ad una foresta di querce e di castagni, è dedicato alla Madonna. Era uno dei sei santuari creati da Gregorio Magno nel VI sec.. In una cappella, merita di essere visto un affresco raffigurante la Madonna col Bambino in stile bizantino. Partenza per Castelbuono, che deve le sue origini ai Ventimiglia, Signori della Contea di Geraci. Passeggiata per il pittoresco centro storico e degustazione di specialità presso la rinomata pasticceria Fiasconaro, dove gusto e tradizioni si fondono armoniosamente. Visita del Castello dei Ventimiglia, antica dimora signorile, e della bella Cappella di S.Anna. Rientro in hotel prima di cena.

Vers les terres, à travers le Parc des Madonies, arrêt à Gratteri, à 700 m. au dessus du niveau de la mer. Ceint de multiples petites montagnes et de collines, immobile et sure d’elle comme un nid d’aigle sur son rocher, Gratteri domine un paysage époustouflant de beauté. L’air y est pur et frais, le vert domine, le silence pacifie. Continuation pour le Sanctuaire de Gibilmanna, situé sur les pentes boisées du Pizzo Sant’Angelo. Le sanctuaire situé à 800 m d’altitude au milieu d’une forêt de chênes et de châtaigniers est dédié à la Madone. Il était l’un des six sanctuaires créés par Grégoire le Grand au 6e s. Dans une chapelle, ne manquez pas une fresque de style byzantin, la Vierge à l’Enfant. Dèpart pour Castelbuono, qui doit ses origines à Vintimille, Lords du comté de Geraci. Promenade dans le centre historique et dégustation de spécialités prés de la renommé patisserie Fiasconaro, où le goût et les traditions se fondent dans une harmonieuse et haute gastronomie. Visite du Château de Ventimiglia et de la belle Chapelle Palatine. Retour à l’hotel pour le diner.

We discover the mountains, maybe the nicest in Sicily, in the heart of the Madonie Natural Park. First stop in Gratteri, a small medieval village of ancient origin, at 700mt of elevation. One of the most fascinating Gratteri characteristics is the captivating views of the sea and of the coast: a real “terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea”. The trip continues towards the Sanctuary at Gibilmanna , surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean vegetation . The sanctuary, dedicated to the Madonna, is perched high on the Pizzo San Angelo 800m above sea level. Its name refers to its position from the Arabic Jebel, meaning mountain or hill. Departure for Castelbuono, a small medieval town full of life, history and picturesque corners. The walk goes through the main monuments (you can visit the Ventimiglia Castle which holds an ancient Palatine Chapel), but also through the most authentic streets. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste typical pastries (including the now famous panettone Fiasconaro)! Departure for lunch in a wonderfully restored farm house of the XIX century: Tenuta Luogo Marchese (http://tenutaluogomarchese.it/ ). Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
